BIOGRAPHY

First, before anything, I would like to express sincere
gratitude to my Mom & Dad for introducing me to the many musical influence
styles that I acknowledge today. Second, I would like to thank Johnny Stefanchick from
Johnny's Hillbilly Haven, in Manville, New Jersey, for permitting a 14 year old, underaged
drummer, knowing absolutely nothing about how to play traditional country style music
& roots rock & roll to come into his bar & kick up some dust . . . . .
BEIN' RAISED A DRUMMER SINCE I WAS 6 YEARS OLD, I'D
LIKE TO CONTINUOUSLY BE OUT THERE ENTERTAINING, CAUSE THAT'S WHAT I'M ALL ABOUT.
PLAYIN' WHILE STANDIN' DOIN' MORE W/A SNARE DRUM & A CYMBAL THAN MOST DRUMMERS CAN DO
W/A FULL DRUM KIT!

Interview with Tweed Schade:
I have never played with a more enthusiastic, driven performer...Cochise is the
master of stage presence....I'll never forget the night at the Continental NYC....after an
exhausting set..we finished with "This Land Is Your Land"...with Cochise running
out into the street and dodging Taxi cabs and all...then he ran back inside and smashed
the snare drum on the stage...only to have it hit him in the head and give him
stitches...as I drove home towards Belvidere that night, after dropping him off so he
could go to the hospital..I thought...man nobody would ever be able to pull that stuff off
like Cochise does....nobody...hell that cat is doing what all the 18 year olds wish they
could do...he came, he played...he bled....the west wasn't won...with a registered
gun...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There was this gig we did...at an American Legion Hall in Belvidere.....the lady
asked us if we wanted cake...Johnny Cook and both said yes....then she pointed towards
Cochise (who was headed for the bar) and asked if he'd like any...Johnny said..."he's
gonna drink his cake"...later that night, I witnessed Cochise sliding 25 feet head
first across the well waxed floor..and I thought to myself...that guys is gonna break his
neck....I swear he slid across the floor with the snare held out in front of him..while on
his belly..and keeping a driving beat to end the song...ever since we played Hank Tavern
in Brooklyn, Chisey's been doin some pretty wild/cool things...but this night in
Belvidere..will always stand out in my memory...as well as the Continental show...but I'm
sure I'll have more to comment...just come to the next show and see for yourselves
